artist statement

The title of my slide show was called in the shadow of a song. I tried to add in detail about what happened through out his life but I added more of my point of view than my grand fathers. I told a story of a man taking the journey to America to save the world from bad music while doing this he finds love and adventure is all through the story. The protagonist goal is to find the lady in gold and save the world from the bad music box. The protagonist wants to do this because he wants the world to live long and prosper and he would like to see people stop dying because of the bad music. The main point of the story was to show the struggle of being in America. I fell like I was very successful communication this message to my audience because people that were in the crowed were all in to the story. I feel I did this because my story made the whole project interesting.

I told my story with a really cool musical back ground and I think that made the story what it is today. Through out the whole story I tried to be dramatic but on some parts I told a joke for example I said that my grand father got pushed off the boat by a ram. I just told a story and then I added the images and I tried to make the pictures just go with my voice for example when I started talking about a lady in gold a picture of a lady in gold came up and it looked very cool. I also used symbols to show how my grand father was mentally strong and physical strong.

Because my topic was on a super hero I just used the 17 stages right by the book this made the project very easy. I found out a lot of things about I movie when I set up my slide show I had to find out how to cut and add subtitles to my clips, I found out how to do this and my project came out fine and I also added a music back ground and that was like the icing on my cake .

My teacher morgan was talking about super heros the whole project and I just decided to make my story on a super hero. The movie star wars also helped me out I got almost all of the info from the 17 stages based on the star wars movie so yea that helped me out a lot. In my eyes I believe that I did tell the truth but come on no one is really a super hero,but I still told the story of a man struggling in america and the difficulties of him coming to america.

When I first got the project I did not get it until I got the 17 stages page then the project became easy to me. On thing that I was told by my peers was to add images that I had taken a picture of but I never did it because I liked my project just how it was plus that required more work and more work sucks. One of my strengths was putting the music behind my voice this basically set the tone for my story. One challenge that I faced was putting my voice with my pictures I had to do a lot of editing to make my movie what it is today. I feel that my project was good I loved doing the project and I feel I made it good enough to show my work to a whole crowed at the exhibition, However I could have added self taken images and made the story longer by adding more details.

i feel like this semester went by very fast and i 

feel that i have produced my best work this semester so 

i am satisfied with almost all of my grades i still have a c.

i was able to finish all of my work on time.i was able to 

stay focused in class.i was not able to help others.

what was easy/hard about the prezi?

making the prezi was really hard i hated doing this because i was not
here when the class discussed how to use prezi i kind of just figured it out on
my own. i think that a keynote can look way better then a prezi because keynote
has cooler effects and it works a lot better in transitioning but the one thing that
was easy was getting the images on the computer and putting them o your blog post.

how can you read the image of the montage?

you can do this by seeing the action of the picture
and the coloring oh and you can see this by the expression
on there faces like the pic on your blog you can see that the
people are running from something and that it is in old tomes
by the coloring you can also see that they are in danger by the
expression on there faces.
